Our Employee Appreciation Lasts All Year

Employee Appreciation Day is March 6, and we’ve got over 3,000 reasons to celebrate.

Paycom thrives on a culture of appreciation because we know our employees are the reason for our success as a company. There’s even research that backs it up. According to author Shawn Anchor, employee happiness improves nearly every business and educational outcome, and that happiness most often stems from employee recognition.

We have a variety of ways we show employee appreciation throughout the year, from quarterly employee gifts and anniversary flowers to an appreciation breakfast served by senior leadership.

And we also have events where we crank up the fun, including:

  • Our annual De-stress Week, full of stress-relieving activities. We offer chair massages, painting parties, pop and popcorn machines, and show episodes of The Office (of course) during lunch.
  • Jeans Month, where employees get to wear jeans for – you guessed it – one month. We also include theme days during the month like Decade Day, Fandom Day, Character Day and more.
  • An actual carnival at our headquarters with rides, food and a ton of fun.

The numerous awards Paycom has received is indicative of employees who feel appreciated. Paycom recently was recognized for the fifth time as one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, an award driven by an employee opinion survey.

Recently, Paycom showed appreciation for its employees by adding benefits to promote work-life balance, including paid paternity and maternity leave for new parents.
